This bracelet is a friendship bracelet. For us - Herobyahlgreen - it is a friendship for life. The first time we met Marianne/Founder of TuaMea, she gave us a bracelet and we have been wearing it ever since.
TuaMea - the story:

TuaMea was launched in 2016. TuaMea is two Latin words meaning "yours" and "mine," jewelry with significance and meaning. A story, a memory, and/or a place you have been.
A piece of jewelry from TuaMea Jewelry is crafted with history and meaning in mind, serving as a reminder, a keepsake, a gift that symbolizes friends forever and love. What is mine is also yours, let us share, give, and delight each other.
Rhodium-plated jewelry adds an extra layer of protection to the piece and produces a brighter white color than sterling silver, white gold, or platinum.
Jewelry cannot be made of solid rhodium because, despite its strength, rhodium is brittle.
A layer of rhodium plating must have the right thickness to prevent it from cracking - 0.75-1.0 microns is perfect.
The perfect layer of rhodium enhances the appearance, quality, and durability of your jewelry.
Rhodium is non-toxic and completely safe.
Rhodium-treated jewelry is recommended for people with sensitive skin, babies, and new piercings.
Rhodium is also corrosion-resistant and does not tarnish.
Because rhodium is strong, it does not need to be alloyed with other metals like copper, which would eventually corrode and leave marks on your skin.
What is Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver?
Sterling silver plated with rhodium makes the piece whiter and brighter. Silver is a softer metal, so rhodium protects it from scratches or wear. Solid silver is too soft to be made into jewelry, so it contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals like copper. Traces of copper in sterling silver cause tarnishing. The addition of a rhodium coating prevents this from happening.
When a silver piece is coated with a layer of rhodium, it becomes stronger.
ADVICE FOR THE LEATHER STRING:
- Use any leather conditioner once a year to avoid drying out the leather
- If the string has got a greasy layer, carefully use a neutral soap
- Do not use large amounts of water as the leather loses its suppleness when soaked
- If your bracelet gets wet, let it dry slowly and coolly
